2 Comp SIFF Tickets for Opening Night Party-goers
In case any of you weren't aware, SIFF credited the account of each opening night party-goer with two (2) complimentary ticket vouchers to SIFF screenings. Instructions for claiming your vouchers are at the bottom of this posting. You may also claim them at any SIFF Will Call table at one of the SIFF Venues without redeeming them online.
SIFF did this to make up for the lack of promised champagne cocktails.
I know that most of you have passes, but these comp tickes could be a great way to get your friends hooked on SIFF.

Dear Patron and Friend of SIFF, Thank you for purchasing tickets to the SIFF 2008 Opening Night Benefit Gala featuring Battle in Seattle.
The Opening Night Benefit Gala has grown over the last several years, with more than 3,000 people attending this year. After last year's event, we realized that it had simply become unsustainable for SIFF to continue to offer a hosted bar to all of its patrons and still raise the necessary funds needed to produce the Festival at the level of quality our patrons expect.
To address this situation, we modified the $50 ticket to include the red carpet experience with the stars of the film, the screening of Battle in Seattle at McCaw Hall's Brotman Auditorium, a Festival catalog, and a Gala party at the Exhibition Hall which included live entertainment, and complimentary hors d'oeuvres, Champagne cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.
Unfortunately, due to a logistical problem during the event, we were unable to provide our patrons in the Exhibition Hall with the complimentary Champagne cocktails we promised.
We apologize for this unfortunate situation and we regret that you did not fully enjoy your Opening Night experience. Please accept these two Festival screening vouchers as a token of our appreciation of your support.
The two vouchers will be added to your account at www.siff.net. You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been updated. If you do not receive your email confirmation by Monday, June 2, please contact the box office at boxoffice@siff.net or 206.324.9996.

To redeem your complimentary screening 2-pack online:
1. Log into your account at www.siff.net
2. Click on Shop -> Passes & Packages -> Redeem Package.
3. Select the "Complimentary Screening 2-Pack" package listed on your account.
4. Select films by title or screening code.
5. When you've selected your films, click "Finished" to review your Cart.
6. From the Cart, click "Checkout" to complete your transaction.
7. On the final Checkout step, please review your order closely. This is your last chance to check dates and showtimes.
8. Click "Place Order." You will receive both an on-screen and email confirmation of your order. Please bring this with you to any Will Call outlet along with a valid photo ID.
