A past SIFF #1 Most Liked Film returns!

SIFF 2006's Most Liked Film (Elsa & Fred) has returned to Seattle! And it only took 25 months to make it back! With a healthy 2.50 Likeabililty Rating, this film rose to the top for some reason. Why that is, I don't know cuz I missed it!!!! But after waiting 25 months, I'm not going to miss it this time! Other Elsa & Fred info: Elsa & Fred is not available on DVD here in the States, but a Spanish import PAL version exists and can be bought from Amazon.com. Noone (not even Scarecrow) seems to have a rental available yet. Also, do not mistake Elsa & Fred for the film Ethel & Fred that was about Lucy & Ricky's landlords.

All week SIFF Cinema is playing a fine documentary called A Man Named Pearl. Support your SIFF Cinema and see it! :-)

Amazing cinematic experiences are all over town this week: 35mm screenings of Cluny Brown (RARE ALERT: only DVD version available is a PAL Spanish import) at the Seattle Art Museum on Thursday night ONLY, Orson Welles The Trial at the NWFF (Fri, Sat & Sun ONLY) and Fellini's La Strada at the Metro on Wednesday night ONLY.

There are two return arrivals of SIFF 2008 films this week, American Teen and Chris & Don: A Love Story.

BARGAIN OF THE WEEK:
